Natalie is an active member of the Center Community Church in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She provides a selfless service to many friends, family and her community helping with transportations, paperwork, and more.
Natalie moved with her family of nine from Thailand refugee camp in 1985 to West Haven, Connecticut. Natalie graduated from West Haven High School, where there were few Asians in her community. After graduating high school, she went to Gateway Community College and finished her degree in General Studies at Central Texas College. She then went to Columbia Southern State University major in Business Management.
Natalie joined the CT Army National Guard in 1994. She was motivated and decided to pursue her career in active Army and completed 20 years of service with a senior rank of Sergeant First Class. Natalie’s military occupation specialist was Chemical Specialist. She completed two tours in Iraq and one in Kuwait. She traveled all-across 50 states including traveling all over Europe. After retiring from the Army in 2016, she went to work as an office manager for a low-income community managing 380 families in Anchorage, Alaska.
Then in 2017, she decided to move back to Connecticut to take care of her elderly parents. She sold two homes and gave up her job in Alaska. Family is everything and it’s priceless.
Natalie is married to Pedro Jackson, who is also a veteran. They have three kids, ages 22, 16 and 9. Her oldest son is in the Navy doing Nuclear Electrical.
