About W.I.N.
Women’s Inspirational Network
Our vision
Our vision is to encourage self-sufficiency, social and economic development and advocate for self-healing, self-love and self-care.
W.I.N. is a support group that helps women and girls that are going through transitions that can be related to various topics by offering individual or group support. We believe that women can learn from one another in a confident, comfortable environment and in a safe atmosphere where they will see the reflections of other individual stories so they feel they are not alone.
A safe haven
By sharing their experiences, it will give comfort to others who are going through similar circumstances so that they do not feel singular in their situations. In forming this network, we have developed an enclave for healing where women and girls will feel safe; a safe haven for them to share and interact with one another without recourse or judgment.
Motivate and inspire
This network will be a place where women and girls can come together to motivate and inspire one another. Woman can support other women as well as share goals and build a stronger community. Having a support group of this nature is essential for the greater Waterbury’s women and girls, especially those experiencing life’s hardships.
We seek to empower all women, from all backgrounds through a variety of services and support.
Our current programs and activities target women who are entrepreneurs, working a 9-5 job, who are mothers, in a time of socioeconomic need, have experienced job layoffs, divorce or separation, emotionally and physically hurt (whether there is a death in the family or from a significant other), verbally abused by loved ones, hurt from the past or present, or have child issues and concerns.
